A trade show emcee in Singapore turns passing visitors into conversations for your sales team. The presenter gathers a crowd, delivers a short product pitch from memory, runs a game or lucky draw tied to a badge scan or business card, and hands interested buyers to your staff. Then does it again, four to eight times a day. We shortlist booth presenters and stage hosts and send you reels and a price.
Price: a booth emcee costs about SGD 400 to 1,000 a day for English only and SGD 800 to 1,300 a full day for English and Mandarin. A main stage host costs SGD 1,000 to 1,800 a full day. See emcee rates in Singapore.
Booth emcee or stage host
Booth emcee. Works your stand all day, repeating the same pitch and game, competing with noise from the next booth and staying on message. This needs stamina more than charisma.
Exhibition stage host. Works the organiser's main stage, introduces speakers, announces sponsors and keeps a wider hall audience engaged between sessions. This needs stronger improvisation, because the content changes all day.
Some exhibitors book both. If a quote says only "emcee", ask which role it means.
A typical show day
Most Singapore trade shows open from about 10am to 6pm. Your presenter arrives 45 to 60 minutes before the hall opens to set up, test sound and run through the pitch with your booth staff. The day usually has four to eight show cycles about 45 minutes to an hour apart, each 10 to 20 minutes long including the game. Lunch and the mid afternoon lull are when a crowd gathering show works hardest. For multi day shows, keep the same presenter so returning buyers see a familiar face.
Booth host and booth staff
The host draws the crowd and pitches. Booth staff scan badges, collect cards, answer detailed pricing questions and book follow up meetings while the crowd is still there. On a stand smaller than about 3 by 3 metres, one presenter can double as light support. Anything bigger needs the roles split, or leads walk away while the host is mid pitch.
What is included
A booking includes the presenter's time, a product briefing by call or site visit, a script built around your key messages, and booth attire in your brand colours if you supply it. A second presenter for overlapping shows, overtime, transport, costume changes, languages beyond English and Mandarin, prizes and lead capture equipment cost extra.
The mistake to avoid
Do not book a warm wedding or dinner and dance emcee for a booth. Booth work means running an eight minute pitch forty times a day, projecting over hall noise and answering product questions accurately. A mismatched host burns out by 2pm. Ask for video of the presenter working a booth, not only a stage.
Book three to four weeks ahead, earlier for major shows. For stage hosting at a conference, see the conference emcee page, and for Mandarin speaking buyers, the bilingual emcee page. Send your show dates through the quote form.
